Sabarimala: BSNL suspends activist Rehana Fathima

Women's rights activist Rehana Fathima who was arrested on Tuesday for offensive Facebook post has been suspended by the BSNL where she worked as a telecom technician. Rehana has been arrested for allegedly hurting the religious sentiments of people. On September 30, Fathima had posted a picture on Facebook, dressing up like an Ayyappa devotee. Fathima, along with a woman journalist, had gone to the Sabarimala Temple in October but had to return after protests.
