As a tribute to couriers working amid the Covid-19 pandemic, food retailers in Moscow have unveiled a unique monument. It features a figure of a delivery person, made from metal and concrete and reads 'to those who made self-isolation possible'. Designed by artist Alexei Garikovich, the monument portrays how couriers turned heroes, showing up at work everyday despite the spike in Covid-19 cases. It has been installed on a territory of a business center by five Russian food companies that collaborated for the project.
