After being left out of the T20 squad, Test skipper Joe Root joined the England team for the 3-match ODI series against Australia. When asked about if Root was still a part of the 50 over squad moving forward, limited-overs skipper Eoin Morgan said that Root is a very underrated batsman in ODIs and is perfect for the number 3 spot.
