Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Y.S. Jagamohan Reddy inaugurated the revamped Bapu Museum in Vijaywada on Thursday.
The world-class museum has been renovated and includes 1500 artefacts spanning from the pre historic era up till the 19th century.
The museum now has 9 galleries, including a numismatic, a textile and a epigraphy gallery among others. It is equipped with advanced digital interactive display technologies like Augmented Reality, an interactive digital display panel, a digital book and interactive kiosks.
A laser light show will also be launched in front of the Victoria building by the department of Archaeology.
