Senior Congress leader Shatrughan Sinha is likely to join the Trinamool Congress soon, news agency PTI reported on Sunday citing sources close to him.
Sinha's recent pro-Modi tweet had triggered speculation that he might return to the BJP but reports said he is more inclined towards the TMC after Mamata Banerjee's sweeping win in the recently conducted assembly polls in West Bengal.
According to the PTI report, when Sinha was asked about his chances of joining the TMC, he refused to make a direct comment, but reportedly said, Politics is an art of possibility. According to some reports, the TMC leadership is in talks with Shatrughan Sinha and they are believed to be at an "advanced stage".

Reports add that Sinha may switch over to the TMC on July 21 which the party marks as Martyrs' day. Affter the West Bengal assembly election results, Shah showered lavish praise on Mamata Banerjee, calling her "real Royal Bengal tiger" who trounced propaganda and 'dhanshakti' (money power) of the BJP.
