The Delhi Commission of Women chief Swati Maliwal has said that the Unnao gang-rape survivour and her lawyer are critical, and doctors told her that their chances of survival were bleak. Maliwal, who met the survivour and her lawyer at a hospital in Lucknow, wrote on twitter that doctors believe that the duo should be airlifted to Delhi. India Today TV reported that the woman’s lungs were severely injured and the doctors at King George's Medical University Hospital, has now put her on a ventilator.
