Report: PUBG's Tencent to ensure continued availability of apps

According to a Reuters report, Chinese company Tencent, the game developer of PUBG MOBILE says that it will engage with Indian Authorities to ensure continued availability of apps. To recall, popular battle royale game PUBG Mobile is among 118 additional Chinese apps banned by the government in India after fresh tensions in Ladakh. The IT Ministry said that the apps have been banned under Section 69A of the IT Act for “engaging in activities which is prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, defence of India, security of state and public order".
