Swedish telecom gear vendor Ericsson has said in a report that 5G subscriptions in India will surpass 350 million in 2026, accounting for over one-fourth of total mobile subscriptions.
The report estimates that 4G will continue to be the dominant technology in India in 2026, with three out of every five mobile subscriptions.
Globally, more than 1 billion people will have access to 5G coverage by the end of 2020.
