Globally, renewable energy could expand by 50 percent in the next five years. Paris-based International Energy Agency has found that wind, solar and hydro power projects are rolling out much faster in the last four years. Renewable electricity is expected to grow equivalent of the total electricity capacity of the US, in the next five years.
