A sigh of relief for Vaishno Devi pilgrims! The passenger ropeway service has begun, from Bhawan, that is the main shrine to Bhairon Ghati in Vaishno devi. It will reduce travel time to just 3 minutes and will have 2 cable cars operating from it. The ride will cost devotees just rupees 100. The otherwise 1.5 kilometer climb is very steep, making it tedious for the elderly to pay a visit.
