Red tide killing dolphins off Florida's coast

Beaches in Florida are witnessing an increase in the number of dead dolphins due to red tides or the discoloration of the sea due to toxic algae bloom. Pollution and other human activities are responsible for red tides. The last week has seen about 20 dead dolphins along the southwest coast. According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) brevetoxin is responsible for killing marine life.
