Indian head coach Ravi Shastri, bowling coach Bharat Arun, fielding coach R Sridhar, and team physio Nitin Patel's RT-PCR test has also returned positive. As a result, all 4 will miss the final Test vs England in Manchester owing to a 10-day isolation.

Shastri and other support staff members' lateral flow test had returned positive on Saturday and they didin't travel with Team India to the Oval for Day 4 of the Test. The remaining members of the Indian contingent underwent two Lateral Flow Tests, one on Saturday night and another on the morning of Day 4. Thankfully, they all returned negative and were allowed to proceed with the Test match.
