In a rare operation, a hedgehog was rescued from a residential area in Gujarat's Vadodara district by an NGO called Wildlife Rescue Trust.
The mammal was reportedly found on the road of the complex.
According to the NGO's president, it was last spotted in Vadodara back in 2007.Hedgehogs are small-sized mammals whose bodies are covered in quills like a porcupine.
