Ranveer as Sam Manekshaw in Meghna Gulzar next

After playing a cop in Simmba, Ranveer Singh will now be seen playing the role of field marshal Sam Manekshaw in his biopic. Reports are abuzz Meghna Gulzar will start shooting after she finishes the biopic on the acid-attack victim Laxmi Aggrawal starring Deepika Padukone. A report further states, Singh will undergo preparation for the part, both emotionally and physically as it requires elaborate recreation of real war sequences.
