Rajasthan's doctor couple was shot dead in broad daylight at around 4.45 pm on Friday in Bharatpur, a CCTV footage that surfaced on social media showed.
In the video, 2 men who came on a bike can be seen walking over to the doctor's car. As soon as the doctor lowered the window of the car, one of them fired multiple shots and then the 2 escaped the crime scene.
The video was also shared by BJP MP Rajyavardhan Rathore who complained of 'absolute lawlessness' and wrote that the spineless state govt has done nothing to stop criminals who run amok in the cities and villages.
Police arrested one of the 2 men and said revenge could have led to the crime. The couple was allegedly involved in the murder of a young woman, who reportedly had a relationship with the doctor. The arrested man is the murdered young woman's brother.
