Queen's New Year Honours: Alastair Cook, Harry Kane knighted

Cricketer Alastair Cook, England captain and Tottenham striker Harry Kane and manager Gareth Southgate have received knighthood from Queen Elizabeth as she presented the honour to a host of sporting personalities in the New Year honors list. Cook who retired earlier this year, is the highest run-scorer for England in test cricket. Gareth Southgate and Harry Kane have been rewarded for England's great run at the FIFA World Cup 2018.
