American singer-songwriter and actress Beyoncé turned 39 on Friday. Beyoncé rose to fame in 1990s as the lead singer of the R&B group 'Destiny’s Child' and launched her solo career in 2003 with her album 'Dangerously in Love'.
In a career spanning two decades, Beyoncé has not just given hit albums that include, Love, B’Day, I Am…Sasha Fierce, Beyoncé, and Lemonade but has also starred in hit films like 'The Pink Panther', 'Dreamgirls', 'The Lion King' and 'Obsessed'.
With a total of 24 Grammy Awards and 70 nominations she is the most nominated woman and the second-most awarded woman in Grammy history. The singer also won 13 Billboard Music Awards making her the eighth-most awarded artist.
