Ahead of the 2022 FIFA world cup, Qatar has added another jewel in its already gleaming crown of cultural heritage. Inspired by a desert rose, the National Museum Of Qatar in Doha took 18 years to build, and is structured such that it looks like a pile-up of flying saucers. After unveiling Louvre Abu Dhabi, this is French architect Jean Nouvel's second big venture in the region. The museum opens its doors to public on the 28th of March.
