One month after the horrific blast in Beirut, rescue operations resumed on Friday after a pulsing signal was detected on Thursday, raising hopes of a possible survivor.
While 191 people lost their lives in the August 4 explosion at the Beirut port, 7 people are still missing.
Search operations resumed after a heartbeat was detected under the debris of a flattened building in one of the worst affected areas by the blast.
The search was carried out jointly by Lebanese and Chilean teams. Army experts inspected the site and 2 cranes were brought in to clean the debris.
