Planned protests against the Arsenal owner Stan Kroenke took place outside the Emirates Stadium on Friday. Thousands of Arsenal fans turned up at the London based stadium to protest against the American owners. The protests took place after the owners agreed to join the breakaway Super League and later backed out. On the pitch, Arsenal was edged out 1-0 by their derby rivals Everton and that enraged the fans further as the protests went deep into the evening.
