Priya Ramani Vs MJ Akbar: Verdict in defamation case today

A Delhi Court will today pronounce its verdict in the criminal defamation case filed by former union minister MJ Akbar against journalist Priya Ramani. The judge had on 10th February reserved judgment in the case. The criminal defamation case was filed by MJ Akbar in October 2018, after he had to step down as a union minister of state for external affairs in the wake of sexual harassment allegations made by him by many women journalists during the '#MeToo' movement.
