Priya Ahluwalia bags prestigious H&M Design Award 2019

London-born Priya Ahluwalia, a fashion graduate from the University of Westminster, has won the H&M Design Award 2019. Ahluwalia designed a collection inspired from her dual Indian-Nigerian heritage and was selected from 10 finalists for the honour. Winning a cash prize of 50,000 euros, her line made from recycled and sustainable fabrics joins the likes of Richard Quinn who won last year.
