He may have been away for 12 years but Cristiano Ronaldo once again stole the show on his Old Trafford return, as his brace helped Manchester United thrash Newcastle United 4-1.
A sea of fans in Manchester erupted in joy as Ronaldo put United ahead in first half's extra time. Javier Manquillo equalised in the 56th minute but CR7 restored the lead soon after. 36-year-old Ronaldo is now the oldest player to score a brace in a Premier League match since Graham Alexander for Burnley in April 2010. Bruno Fernandes and Jesse Lingard too scored a goal each and sealed a memorable win for the Red Devils.
Manchester United haven't lost any of their 5 Premier League games so far.
