Premier League: Gabriel Martinelli scores twice as Arsenal thrash Leeds United 4-1

Arsenal registered another convincing victory as they thrashed an injury-marred Leeds United 4-1 on Saturday at the Elland Road.

Right from the start, the Gunners came down heavily on Marcelo Bielsa's side that had 8 senior players missing due to injury or suspension. Within the first half, they already had an unassailable lead of 3 goals. While Gabriel Martinelli scored twice in the 16th and 28th minute, Bukayo Saka found a goal towards the end of the first half in the 42nd minute.

Raphinha pulled back a compensatory from the penalty spot for his side in the 75th minute before Arsenal struck again. Emile Smith Rowe hit the net in the 84th minute as Mikel Arteta's men romped their way to a 3rd straight win.

While Leeds United is at the 16th position, Arsenal is at 4th in the Premier League standings.
