Premier League: City get a thrashing, Spurs held to a draw

It was a busy sporting weekend which saw plenty of big teams in Premier League left frustrated. Leicester City thrashed Manchester City 5-2 on Sunday night which saw Jamie Vardy score a hat-trick including 2 goals from the penalty spot. The royal thrashing for the Citizens was also the first time in Pep Guardiola's career that his side conceded 5 goals in a game. Citizens to conceded 5 at home for the first time in 438 matches. Meanwhile, a late injury-time penalty prevented Tottenham from going home with all 3 points against Newcastle United. Lucas Moura scored for the Spurs while Callum Wilson equalised for the Toons in the 97th min to hold Spurs to a 1-1 draw.
