48-year-old leg spinner Pravin Tambe has become the first Indian cricketer to bag a Caribbean Premier League deal. Tambe was signed by Trinbago Knight Riders in Monday's CPL draft and will play for Kolkata Knight Riders' sister franchise. Interestingly, he was also signed by KKR in the 2020 auction but BCCI had disqualified him from playing in this year's IPL after Tambe had entered his name in the CPL draft. The board had pulled-up the leggie as the Board of Control for Cricket in India has maintained its stance of not allowing it's contracted players to play in foreign leagues. Tambe who rose to fame with the Rajasthan Royals in 2013 hasn't played an IPL game in the last 4 years.
