Pacer Prasidh Krishna has been included in the Indian squad for the fourth test starting Thursday at The Oval. BCCI in a media release said that Prasidh is currently travelling and training with the team and will be available for selection for the Oval Test.
His inclusion means that India now has 7 pacers in its arsenal, which is 22-men strong. The decision was taken after a request by the team management, which may be keen to monitor the workload management of Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj and Mohammed Shami, according to reports.
Interestingly, Prasidh also made his ODI debut against England in the home series in March.
