Poland's President Andrzej Duda has tested positive for coronavirus,
Blazej Spychalski, secretary of state in the president's office announced on Twitter. The announcement trails a sudden surge in the number of coronavirus infections, followed by the government initiating a lockdown on Saturday. The lockdown brought a partial closure on restaurants, pubs, and cafes which can now only serve takeaway meals. A limit of 5 people has been imposed on gatherings and, weddings or religious services have been completely banned.
Bulgarian President Rumen Radev has also gone into quarantine as he had met the Polish President at an investment forum in Tallinn on Monday.
