PM Modi in TIME Magazine's list of '100 Most Influential People'

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made it to Time magazine's ‘100 Most Influential People 2020’ list. Modi is the only politician from India to have been featured in the 'Leaders' category.

Other world leaders who feature in the coveted list are people who have dominated global headlines over the past few months, including US President Donald Trump, Chinese President Xi Jinping, Joe Biden, Democratic challenger to Trump and Kamala Harris, his running mate.

Among the other Indians to who made it to the list are 82-year-old Bilkis, who was one of the most prominent faces during the anti-CAA protests at Shaheen Bagh in Delhi, Professor Ravindra Gupta who spearheaded a study that led to the second man in history being cured of HIV in London, last year.

Alphabet and Google CEO Sundar Pichai has also been named among the world’s 100 most influential people along with Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana in the 'Artist' category.
