Priyanka Gandhi Vadra launched a sharp attack on chief minister Yogi Adityanath and prime minister Narendra Modi from Congress' 'Kisan Nyay Rally' in Varanasi.
She criticised PM Modi and said that he attended 'Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav' in Lucknow but didn't go to Lakhimpur Kheri to wipe the tears of the aggrieved families. Priyanka further said that the 'azadi' the country is celebrating today is because of farmers and their sons who guard the borders.
Priyanka Gandhi also accused Yogi Adityanath of defending union minister Ajay Mishra and his son Ashish Mishra on a public forum.

Ashish Mishra, who was arrested on Saturday night, has been accused of being present in one of cars of a convoy that mowed down 4 protesting farmers in Lakhimpur Kheri last week.
