Prime Minister Narendra Modi said reiterated his govt's decision to increase the scholarships for children of martyrs. "In last 5 years, several important decisions were taken for the welfare of our soldiers and their families. Our govt took the decision to implement OROP, which was pending for decades. Right after our govt was formed this time, we took the decision to raise the scholarships of martyrs' children".
