Petrol cheapest in 8 months, diesel in 3 months

After regular price cuts over the last 40 days, diesel is now at its cheapest in the last 3 months while petrol price is at an 8-month low. Petrol prices were cut down by 33 paise and diesel by 36 paise. A litre of petrol costs Rs 73.24 in Delhi, while diesel costs Rs 68.13 per litre In Mumbai, petrol is Rs 78.80 while diesel is Rs 71.33 per litre In Kolkata, petrol is at Rs 75.24 per litre, while diesel is Rs 69.98. Down south, in Chennai, petrol is Rs 76.01 and diesel is Rs 71.95.
