PETA announces winners of its 2018 fashion awards

Fashion and animal rights protestors have always gone head to head but 2018 saw some positive change. Multiple luxury brands like Gucci, Burberry, Michael Kors were all celebrated by PETA for banning animal fur. ASOS was named the most progressive online platform for banning all mohair, silk, feathers and cashmere products from its site. Helsinki Fashion Week was named the most progressive fashion event for banning leather from catwalks.
