The coronavirus pandemic had put a halt on everything from daily life to festivals. Catholics across the world are facing an unprecedented Easter due to lockdowns. For centuries, in the days leading up to the celebration, people boil and decorate eggs to give to their friends and relatives on Easter and even though they can celebrate the festivities together, people are creating colourful masterpieces in isolation. The tradition is particularly helping children who see this as a welcome distraction from thinking about the crisis.
