Workers of Mamata Banerjee led Trinamool Congress (TMC) on Thursday took out a procession with a horse in Kolkata over the 'Pegasus project' issue. Party leader Madan Mitra was seen first walking blindfolded beside the horse and then riding it.

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said on Monday that her government in the state has set up a two-member inquiry commission to probe the Pegasus spyware row as the union government was "reluctant" to investigate the snooping allegations. She added that the panel will probe the ‘illegal hacking, tracking and recording of mobile phones in West Bengal’.
