NCP supremo Sharad Pawar has turned 80. Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted the Maratha strongman on the occasion and wished him good health and a long life. Pawar, a former Union minister and Maharashtra chief minister, is one of the foremost opposition leaders and is seen as a pivot to the anti-BJP front in the country. His party the NCP unveiled a giant portrait of the leader at the YB Chavan Centre in Mumbai to celebrate his birthday
