In its ongoing probe into the ‘Congress toolkit’ case, Delhi Police teams arrived at twitter India’s offices in Delhi and Gurugram on Monday evening.

The row involves BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra's tweet, which had screenshots of what he called a ‘Congress toolkit’ aimed at discrediting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s handling of the pandemic.

While the Congress said that Patra used forged documents, twitter had marked Patra’s tweet as manipulated media.

Police teams went to Twitter's offices seeking a response to their notice which it had sent on Monday morning. The police had said that it appears that Twitter has some information which is not known, on the basis of which they have classified the tweet as manuplated media.

After Twitter marked Patra's tweet as ‘manipulated media’, the Centre wrote a stern letter asking the social media giant to remove the tag as the "toolkit" was still being investigated.
