India is going to get its first cable-cum-suspension bridge. The central government has approved the construction of this iconic bridge. It will be built across the across Krishna river. It will connect Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The total cost of the project is ₹1,082.56 crore. Nitin Gadkari has described the bridge as 'Pragati Ka Highway'.
