Kia India has announced that it has received over 50,000 bookings for the newly launched Carens MPV. The Korean carmaker opened pre-bookings for the new 3-row vehicle on January 14, 2022, and achieved this staggering figure in less than two months.
Kia says that almost 60 per cent of the total bookings came from Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities and about 50 per cent of the customers preferred to go for the diesel option.
Around 45 per cent of the total bookings were for the top-spec Luxury and Luxury Plus variants, and 30 per cent of customers chose to buy the automatic variants of the MPV.
