Abhishek Group Partners With Japan’s Kaiho Sangyo For Scrappage Plant

The Abhishek Group has partnered with Japan-based Kaiho Sangyo to open a new Registered Vehicle Scrapping Facility (RVSF) in India. The joint venture, called Abhishek K Kaiho or AKK inaugurated its first scrappage facility in Haryana. The Abhishek Group has been making vehicle safety equipment for decades such as seatbelts, parking sensors, automotive accessories and more. Kaiho Sangyo Japan, meanwhile, specialises in vehicle scrappage. The company says that the new Registered Vehicle Scrapping Facility has a capacity to process up to 1,800 vehicles per month and uses the latest technologies to salvage and re-use components from scrapped vehicles as well as recycle commodities like steel and plastic by melting and reusing them in an environment-friendly manner. The company plans to set up another 7 to 8 scrappage facilities across the country within the next few years.
