‘Joyland’: Pakistan’s Official Entry To Oscars Has Been Banned In Its Home

Pakistan’s official Oscar entry film Joyland has been banned by the Pakistani government. This movie was set to release on 18 November across Pakistan. But just a week before its release Pakistan’s Ministry of Information and Broadcasting issued an order to ban this movie. Right after this the film crew also appealed to the audience to lend support to the film with a hashtag- #ReleaseJoyland
