Pankaj Advani beats Pakistan's Babar Masih to win 24th World title

Ace Indian cueist Pankaj Advani on Sunday won his 24th World title after beating Pakistan's Babar Masih in the IBSF 6-Red Snooker World Cup final in Doha. With the victory, the 36-year-old billiards player has now won 2 major titles successively as he grabbed his 11th Asian title last week.

Earlier in the day, Advani also defeated Asian snooker finalist Amir Sarkhosh of Iran 6-3. Buoyed by the win, Advani said he was living a dream. Being away from the table for so long, these 2 back to back triumphs assure me that my hunger and competitive skills haven't diminished, he added.
