A skeleton of one of the largest tyrannosaurus rexes, is going under the hammer at British auction house Christie's in October.
Approximately 67-million- years-old, STAN the dinosaur was discovered in South Dakota in 1987. At 40-feet-long and 13-feet-high, STAN's neck was probably broken in his lifetime.
The T-rex, with an extremely heavy head, will now be displayed at the auction house's Manhattan location. Estimated between a whopping $6 million and $8 million, STAN's longest tooth is 11 inches long and is a sight to behold.
