Odisha's Jagannath temple finally opens to all devotees in last phase

Odisha's Jagannath temple finally reopened to all devotees on the 3rd of January after being closed for around 9 months due to Covid-19.

The reopening of the temple took place in a phased manner, beginning on the 23rd of December. 

Devotees must follow a number of guidelines keeping in mind the  pandemic. This includes a mandatory negative test report to enter, wearing face masks at all times and maintaining physical distance.

Devotees will not be allowed to touch the idols in the temple or carry any offerings.
