No more vehicles inside the Golden Temple complex!

To curb pollution and decongest the area, the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhik Committee has declared the Golden Temple complex as a 'no vehicle zone'. The decision will come into effect from December 31, 2018. An instruction board at the temple's entrance has been placed, asking staffers not to go beyond that point. They may even erect electronic barricades in the area.
