Despite them failing to fetch a medal in their respective individual events, India had still pinned its hopes on shooters Manu Bhaker and Saurabh Chaudhary to deliver in the 10m Air Pistol Mixed team event. But the duo's campaign ended in heartbreak there too, as they failed to even qualify for the medal rounds.

Manu and Saurabh shot a total of 380 in Qualification stage 2 and finished 7th in 2nd stage out of 8 shooting teams after finishing qualification stage 1 on top. The top two in the Qualification stage 2 contest for the gold medal, while the third and fourth-placed teams contest for the bronze medal.

The other Indian team in the event, Abhishek Verma and Yashaswini Singh Deswal, failed to clear Qualification 1 and finished in 17th place, having totalled 564 across six series.
