No Avian Influenza, or bird flu, has been detected in the poultry samples sent from the capital's Ghazipur chicken market, Delhi Animal Husbandry Unit has confirmed. The authorities had last week shut Asia's largest wholesale poultry market for 10 days after the bird flu was confirmed in the wild birds that dropped dead across parks in the city. Bird flu has been confirmed in 10 states, including Delhi. The Capital's govt has banned the sale of chicken amid the scare.
