Fugitive diamantaire Nirav Modi has filed an appeal in the UK High Court seeking permission to challenge the extradition order.
UK Home Secretary, in April, passed the order to extradite fugitive diamond merchant Nirav Modi. He is wanted in India on fraud and money laundering charges related to the estimated $2-billion Punjab National Bank (PNB) scam case.
