You may have to rework your New Year's Eve plans. The Delhi government has imposed a night curfew in the Capital from 11 pm to 6 am on Thursday and Friday. The Delhi Disaster Management Authority stated that the restrictions have been imposed to stop the spread of Covid-19 during the new year celebration and in the wake of the new mutant strain that has been detected in the Capital. No gatherings or celebrations will be allowed in Delhi beyond 11 pm. There will, however, no restriction on interstate and intrastate movement of persons or goods.
