New waves in India inevitable: Centre's Principal Scientific Adviser

As India battles a second wave of deadly Covid-19, the Centre's Principal Scientific Adviser K Vijay Raghavan has warned against new coronavirus waves.

Raghavan said a phase three is inevitable, given the higher levels of circulating virus but it is not clear on what time scale this phase three will occur.

He said India should prepare for new waves.
